The Body Shop Hong Kong actively organises regular
volunteering activities for our staff because our passion and
desire to contribute back to the communities is inherent in
our business philosophy. In 2008, a total of 767 hours was
contributed to volunteer activities, a dramatic increase of
422% compared to 147 hours in 2007.

In 2007, we showed our commitment to environmental conservation by partnering WWF Hong Kong and helping to remove weeds at the Mai Po Nature Reserve to keep the eco-system healthy.
We are serious about protecting the environment and supporting sustainable development.
In 2007, we also participated in and became a corporate sponsor of Hong Kong Cancer Fund’s annual walkathon, “Stride for a Cure”. The event sought to raise funds for cancer research in Hong Kong.

In 2008, we visited a school in Sha Tin, Tai Wai. Joining hands with the students at the school, we showcased our enthusiasm and artistic flair by painting the school walls with a beautiful and colourful mural.
Our breadth of volunteer activities does not end here – we will keep on serving the community and the environment in the days to come!
